To Robinson

The legs felt weary after yesterday's hard 14 miles. Fortunately, Forrest was feeling a little jaded too and we made a mutual decision to have an easier day. I suggested a classic horseshoe up to Robinson, along the ridge to Dalehead and back down the valley to our starting point at Little Town, just a bit over 8 miles.

It was another sensationally beautiful day, even hotter than yesterday, possibly up to 27 deg. I was flagging on the climbs. Forrest deliberately chose to wear dayglo shorts so that I could keep sight of him as he kept running off into the distance. At least he was good enough to stop and wait for me to catch up!
