Plans are moving along

Nice early morning walk with my son and the two puppies before cooking some pancakes (GF obviously) and bacon for breakfast. We’d planned to take the boys to Roslin Glen but they were both pretty tired so we let them run about in the back garden instead.

Our builder arrived this afternoon to pick up the final design and size plans and gave us a provisional start date if the last week in November. We’re heading to the kitchen showroom tomorrow to put down some money - eek. It’s all getting very real and I’m slightly scared of having to now start thinking of clearing out many cupboards!

Our son headed off at lunchtime and later told us Henry was asleep from the minute he set off until late afternoon.

Phin slept for a couple of hours, allowed me to take him to the field and promptly fell asleep again. Nipped to the supermarket for some bits and pieces and home to decide on fish and chips for dinner. Very very tasty. A nice bath and I’m almost ready fir bed before 9 - rock and roll Friday night!
