The Field of Hope

This field the size of 4 football pitches contains hundreds of thousands of sunflowers and the word Hope has been cut in paths by the farmer ( a farm I used to visit often when I was a farm vet ).

The local minister and his congregation have been involved in raising thousands of pounds for local charities by making a small charge to walk through the field.

There were ominous dark clouds during our visit but fortunately the rain waited till we popped along to Elie for an ice cream after calling at the farm’s prize winning farm shop.
