Valencia by night

The City of Arts and Sciences, or Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Spanish, is a cultural and architectural complex and, as the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia is one of the 12 Treasures of Spain.

It is situated at the southeast end of the former riverbed of the river Turia, which was drained and rerouted after a catastrophic flood in 1957. The old riverbed is now a picturesque sunken park that meanders for some 9km through the city centre.
