Moon Jellyfish – Oceanogràfic de València

The moon jellyfish, or common jellyfish (Aurelia labiata) can live in a wide range of temperatures, from -6º to 31º.

They usually live in shallow waters, not exceeding 15 metres deep, generally near coastal areas, in temperate and tropical waters around the world. Large aggregations are related to excess nutrients of anthropogenic origin.
