Emulsion #3

The third stage in the anthotype process is to paint the filtered emulsion on to a strong watercolour paper. I usually do two or three coats, allowing it to dry in between each coat. I also keep a record of the emulsions for future reference. I've blipped my latest reference sheet. You can see that the three new emulsions that featured in my previous two blips all ended up looking rather similar and very boring. On the right are more exciting emulsions that I made from the petals of dahlia and a scarlet pelargonium. I'll start exposing my new anthotypes tomorrow.
