Busy bees

My sedum was busy with bees in the sunshine. I think they are honey bees, which makes a change, we usually seem to have bumble bees.
Normous has worked hard in the garden today, tidying various corners. He was shredding some of the greenery, but apparently the shredder isn’t working very well. This is of some concern because our garden bin collection has stopped “for the foreseeable future” because of a shortage of drivers. Apparently we are supposed to take our garden rubbish to the tip, but our bin is crammed full, and very heavy, and I don’t think we will be able to manage it. Here’s hoping they find some drivers soon.
