Delayed Spring

Today's challenge was "Up: what do you see when you look up?"

I went outside and looked up at the trees in our road. Normally, if I look up at these trees at the beginning of March, I can see the first hints of blossom, and by this stage of the month the road is lined with the pink of the fully bloomed cherry blossom, which makes a beautiful sight.

Today, when I looked up, I could see the blossom just emerging - several weeks later than in recent years, but it was also covered in crystals of snow. Snow is not unknown here in March, but it's not common, and this winter does seem to have dragged on with miserable grey monotony. I long for some warm sunshine.
