The three amigos

Slept pretty poorly on Saturday night - combination of too much rich food, cheese and wine eaten and drunk too late at night I guesss - but the bonus was that Phin didn’t wake till after 8. Chilly walk round the stream certainly woke me up and I was feeling better after scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms.

Susan’s Scoobie headed home mid morning and Phin and I had a shirt power nap on the sofa whilst Mr PHL changed out the shower in the spare room en-suite as the old one had broken on Saturday morning. It looks quite snazzy with two shower heads so I think we’ll change the one in the master en-suite too as it is also looking very tired.

Made up sandwiches in preparation for our other friends Fiona and Andy arriving for lunch with their two dogs and finished just as they arrived. Their newest dog, Una, is now 4 months and is such a wee cutie. She and Phin chased around whilst their older dog, Clyde who is 7, looked on.

Lunch over we headed to Roslin Glen and spent a happy hour in the woods before heading back to the car park. Loved this shot of the 3 of them in the river.

Miss PHL had arrived home from her visit to TRANSMT on Saturday, tired but happy to have spent time with her friends and we decided we’d treat ourselves to a Chinese takeaway. Fortunately our preferred establishment was able to make a GF version of her chosen dish.

Dinner eaten I managed about 30 minutes of the Antiques roadshow before I headed to bed.
A good day.
