Dead Tree

Year 2 Day 174 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 278 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

I was expecting a tradesman to turn up at 8am to do some groundwork but at 7am he messaged to say he had to go to another job! They're a law unto themselves.  I had a few hours of painting the ceiling in our extension and possibly got more paint on me than the ceiling. A quick second coat tomorrow and then the walls - which will be much easier. The builders are back tomorrow to finish off the skirting, cills, barge boards, guttering and to give it all a 'clean and seal'. The electrician is back on Wednesday and the carpet is Thursday afternoon. The last 14 months have been almost non stop with workspeople of some description.

On the way to collect granddaughter Amelia from pre-school, I always pass this dead tree and stopped for a minute today to take it's portrait.
