Back blip

For some reason my extra didn't download yesterday so I have added the cheeky kitten as a back blip. Those beer bottles have been there for a while, a reminder of happier days when having a beer with dinner was allowed.

Yesterday we joined two little girls in the pool. We know them well and they were very excited to be with us again. I didn't get to do much actual swimming but did a lot of going under water to retrieve pool toys. Three looked like a sticks but were weighted so that they stand up on the pool floor, the three others are balls with rubber strands the float up. The idea is to throw the brightly coloured toys into the water and then dive to retrieve them. It was great fun and actually quite tiring. As a friend who had been watching from the gym commented "That was quite some workout, I felt exhausted just watching." This is a guy that runs 10K on the treadmill!
