Another restaurant

We have added another restaurant to our list. We have been here a few times, but this was the first time that we sat in the garden area. From here we could see into the kitchen, it was spotless. It is a Lebanese vegetarian restaurant. Last night we enjoyed yellow capsicum stuffed with rice and mild spices, served with a tomato sauce. Every thing is made on site.

Well life here continues to tick away. Sadly there are so many travel restrictions that it's just not worth going anywhere. Even some local roads are closed. I mentioned to hubby that it had been awhile since we had been to a large shopping mall, that very day news broke of an infected person visiting the mall and it having to close for deep cleaning and calls for any visitors who had been there to go and get tested. So I am now glad that we didn't go for a look around. Hubby did have to visit the bank in this mall and he reported that the security was very tight.

We have been told that parts of Chiang Mai Province will open to tourists in October. They will have to have been vaccinated, but will still have to quarantine for between 7 to 14 days, the quarantine time keeps changing, and then visitors will be allowed out with a quide to take them to predetermined places. I don't think eating in restaurants would be allowed, and certainly no alchol. I just can't see this working. Quarantine and subsequent Covid testing would all be at the expense of the tourists. Plus they would have to have Covid insurance of at least $100,000 aswell as travel insurance.

My extra is of a gorgeous kitten that lives at another restaurant. He is very lively.
