Little Green Apples

The old apple tree in the yard is loaded with little green apples this year.  It is over 80 years old, planted by a previous owner in the late 1920's.  I don't know the variety but it might be a New England favorite, Granny Smith.  Mostly, I leave them for the deer.  I was reminded of this old Roger Miller song.  Off to Boothbay Harbor later this morning.  The weather doesn't look terribly good but no matter.  It is the company that counts!
