Lighthouses and Trees

I was photographing the trunk of our most mature beech tree which has quite a folded trunk,  bark just before 8:00.

I had prepared our baskets to receive our groceries which were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9.

The delivery truck pulled up adjacent to our recapped column. Miss J jumped down from her cab and started  unloading our shopping at 8:00 a.m. precisely.

As I filled up my baskets from her baskets she told me about the tracking system that follows her every movement.

Apparently, if the van slows too quickly or corners too quickly an alarm rings in the cabin, the incident is logged and reported back to the supermarket.

Enter a 30 zone above 35 and another incident is logged and reported. The purpose is to protect the cargo and to drive within the law.

Everything Miss J delivered to us was in great condition.

Another wet dreich day, and a day for carrying some research on lighthouses. See today’s Blipfoto.

As the prospect of a more normal year in 2022 beckons, invitations to talk to various groups are now being received.

Following more research on different topics, I will start preparing new presentations.

Lighthouses fascinate many different groups.
