Quod oculus meus videt

Signs of Autumn

My earliest appointment for radiotherapy, 8:45. I was glad not to be their first patient of the day when I was told they started at 7:00 am.  This doesn’t happen all of the time, but this was a service day apparently, requiring the early start.

Afterwards, I walked to the pharmacist to get a prescription, walking along this path.  This is the first time it looked like this with a carpet of fallen leaves. It was also noticeable that particularly the silver birch leaves are looking mottled with yellowing leaves.
