Mosaic crochet

So pleased that this book popped through the door today. It has some lovely patterns (extra) so it will keep me going for a while.  Not sure where I will start first, maybe the houses?

Also in the extras is a nice surprise. I actually managed to make a mug cake that vaguely looks like a cake. It tasted good too. I had been missing out a vital step previously, popping a thin layer of water on top of the mixture. What a difference that made - this came out like a cake instead of the dough I usually get. I will have to see if Ican make it even better.
