Das Leben ist kein Ponyhof

That German phrase above literally translates to 'Life is no pony farm' - meaning 'Life isn't all beer and skittles'. However, my life very often (at least on weekends) takes place at a pony horse farm.

So I had to stay another day at home at our farm, because there was some more work to be done. This time I had mostly to deal with our horses (my father breeds trotters) and other livestock (mostly hens). The horses might deserve their own portrait someday...

Therefore you get another glance into farm life. Pictured is an old grain crimper, which is still used for - surprise, surprise - crimping oat, for our horses.
