Balancing act

This blue jay had already flapped his wings to get the other smaller birds away from the suet but he did not stay long as the big daddy jay came by to get some breakfast also.    The tiny birds like wrens and sparrow, titmouse, chickadees and the doves seem to be enjoying the platform feeder.     Always fun watching them get into each others face with flapping wings, hops and jumps!    

We got more corn for the deer feeder so the family is stopping by.  We had the whole herd here last night but it was almost dark so I didn't attempt any photos.   A momma and two babies were here this morning and those babies are almost without spots now.   One of the babies is a buck with little knobby horns starting.   We are glad for that too.

Nature's creatures are such a joy to see!
