Campus cleaning

Mopping the campus walkways in preparation for autumn term.

Since I've started blipping again, I've realised that in my usual daily routine, I don't actually see many things that inspire me to take photos. So, today I took a break from work and went for a walk to find something that actually 'sparked joy' (to use a Marie Kondo term).

I actually love the walkways at the University of York. They haven't changed much since they were built in the 1960s, although this stretch, towards the centre of campus west, has been reroofed with this easily washable material.

The students will be back at the end of the month. I wonder what that's going to be like.
