What'll you have?

Walking back from the town this evening I called into The Beerhouse for the first time since pre-lockdowns. Whilst not the most salubrious, it is, nevertheless, a marvellous facility to be able to enjoy.

They have an extensive selection of well kept real ales - all racked and gravity-poured straight from the barrel. You order by number and can buy by the pint, 2/3 pint, half pint or 1/3 pint. Wine and a good selection of ciders can also be had. The only food they do are cheese and onion cobs but they have a very effective symbiotic business relationship with the fish and chip shop 25 yards away! The chippie lads and lasses will even deliver to your table!

Another plus for me is no piped music (Hallelujah!). The tables outside were pretty full and all I could hear was the pleasant bubble of conversation drifting in. It's just a 14 minute walk from our house. (Return times may vary)
