Open The Boxes.

Following significant replanning and alterations to the kitchen yesterday, we woke up early and were just about ready to receive the new refrigerator and new freezer at the arranged time of Noon.

Pat’s phone rang at 8:30 and it was a request from the supplier wondering if they could bring the appointment forward to 10:00 a.m.

Gulp! Yes we could be ready by the new time. And we were.

The two installers were very efficient and had both appliances unboxed and after negotiating the labyrinth we had devised both were in the correct locations, installed and switched on.

The refrigerator door was also remounted so that a right hand door became a left hand door.

The two veteran devices, almost forty years old were also loaded in the van to be recycled in the appropriate manner.

All done in under an hour! A great effort.

Now they are switched on and cooling down to the selected temperature.

Great organisation by Pat, our specialist in kitchens.

We now have a Butler’s pantry, but I am fairly certain we don’t have a Butler.
