Visa pour l'image exhibition

went into Perpignan today and viewed some of the many photo exhibitions that are on for the annual festival of photojournalism. Unusually today two of the largest exhibitions were natural history orientated with the fabulous wildlife photos of Vincent Munier taking up one of the largest spaces and another on whales by Brian Skerry , both well worth seeing. There was, not surprisingly, a lot of emphasis on the covid pandemic in other exhibitions including its affects on both regions of conflict , refugees and more affluent societies such as in France. Unusually there are no restrictions on taking photos and many of those there were photographing the images. I was trying to match up the viewers with the photos for my shots which wasn't easy. There were some fabulous penguin shots in the Munier exhibition but when someone came along in suitable penguin colours of course they stood in the wrong place!
