Torrential rain forecast

We were promised torrential rain this afternoon so I busied myself tidying up the garden after our week away.  Several things had fallen over or gone past their best.  This sunflower is still looking great though.

In the event the rain didn't arrive until about 7pm and not as heavy as I was expecting.

Just back from a great Linton Jazz rehearsal - we're playing new Christmas music - whoop - where has the year gone?
