Worcester Day 4

We met Chris and Jean in Cathedral Square this morning. After a little discussion we settled on Cote Brasserie for morning coffee and ensconced ourselves on a table for the next hour.  The black coffee was very good, Ann's cappuccino not so....sigh.

After coffee we wandered down to the Guild Hall which is currently open to the public and is displaying, amongst other things, the 1621 Charter of Worcester City signed by James I that I mentioned yesterday.

We then went our separate ways and Colin, Ann and I went back and into Worcester Cathedral.  As with all buildings of its ilk, the cathedral is quite spectacular in the design and construction of a monument undertaken so long ago, the current building being started in the year 1084.

From there we walked to Elgar's in Rainbow Court and had some lunch before making our way back home to check on Luna and sit in the garden.  Another very nice day in Worcester.

The photo is taken from within the inner court garden, cloisters line the four sides of the area.
