Early Morning Doggy Walk

One advantage of the darker mornings is that I’m able to see the sunrise.

I went out with the boys about 6.30am and walked along the seafront which was lovely and quiet. The sun started to rise so I stopped to take some photos and used the statue to hold the dogs’ leads. I thought it made quite a funny image :-)

Back home for breakfast and another hectic day at work - can’t wait to finish in a couple of weeks!

It wasn’t a good start to mums’ new care package today when no one turned up! I called the office and when they looked into it, there had been a technical glitch and although mum could be seen on the rota on the office computer, the information hadn’t transferred to the carer’s rota! They were very apologetic and sent the carer straight round, and the following two visits went ok. Fingers crossed everything will run smoothly now!

I feel at the moment I just spend my time battling with everyone to get things done - we were supposed to have our new front door fitted at the beginning of September after ordering it in May, but so far 4 deliveries have arrived with the door company, without our door. We were assured it would be on the delivery today and be fitted, but guess what, it was on the delivery note but not actually on the van! The owner of the company called us to apologise and said he has a meeting tomorrow with the sales director - hoping we get some answers as we’re due to have a new floor fitted in the hall in a few weeks and don’t want that laying and then the door ripping out….
