Antonowka apples

These are an excellent Polish variety called 'Antonowka Kremowa'. There aren't as many as usual. We ate them baked as desert at lunch today. D put pear and cranberry jam inside them with a bit of cinnamon and I augmented this with a bit of brown sugar [baked for about 20 mins at 175 degrees with fan]. I should have blipped the creamy fluffy result that rose from the dish - but it was already too late.
