Hanging by a Thread

Popped out to pick today's ripened tomatoes at lunchtime and spotted this spider weaving an elaborate construction between the plants. I chased it up and down this thread for a couple of minutes before it stopped still momentarily for a photo. I wonder what spiders and insects make of macro lenses being pointed at them!
