MR WHIPPY ICE CREAM

I just thought this courgette flower look just like Mr Whippy, hence the title.

Have a Wee Scoosh - the Scottish answer to sanitise your hands - I love it!!!

A very quiet day today as I feel very tired after all the travelling yesterday. Still G has arrived in Edinbear safely so all is good.

The journey went well and I even managed a blip via my phone - wheee!!!

The journey home was almost as good as going up, which was terrific.  Sadly due to it being 6 hours of driving (3 each) I didnt really have time to stop anywhere to take photos of the glorious scenery but I did managed to take a few photos aorund The Secret Herb Garden (see collage).

All in all the Secret Herb Garden was lovely, a long wait for service, but all very pleasant and the food was amazing.  We then called a taxi for G to take him into the centre of Edinbear - neither of us are keen on driving in city centres and there is nowhere to park near G anyway.

They came very quickly as apparently they already had a car in Strainton, so that was brilliant.   It was very sad saying goodbye after 19 months of being with us, but we are all safe and that was the whole purpose of it.

Some numpty Audi driver on the Mt on the way home kept cutting people up and weaving between the lanes - it was like saying any tiny gap should be filled and the rest of us are not allowed to overtake slower moving vehicles, just so he can sail through without having to go in the outside lane - idiot!!!

We actually used the Todhills Rest Area for coffee and a wee break on the way up and on the way back as it is so much smaller than a service station.  It's simply costa coffee and a petrol station but I felt much better in a much smaller setting.  Trouble with costa is even their small cups are bigger than I need!!!

We were going to have the decorators in next week but sadly they have just advised that they can no longer do it until February.  To be fair he came round personally, explained the situation and said he would totally understand if we wanted to get someone else.  We are, though, in no hurry so we will wait until he can do it.

Then Sis-in-law will be paying us a visit in October which will be lovely.  Then G will be back down at the end of November for 3 weeks.

That's all for today. do take care, stay safe and see  you all tomorrow.
