J'arrive

The geese have started migrating en masse today, skein after skein flew over - a couple weeks later than normal this year but snowfall in Iceland has now sent them swiftly off on their journey South.

This afternoon I picked up my bestie and a colleague to drive them up to Dunkeld where I'm volunteering (again), this time for a clay pigeon shoot in aid of the Royal Marines Charity.

This is a world apart from my recent volunteering debacle with them in Devon. I have a gorgeous/luxurious room in the Dunkeld House Hotel. Had rabbit and lamb for dinner and am just tucking myself into a super comfortable bed ready for a very long day and night of schmoozing tomorrow.
