Bodega

Awoken by thunder booming overhead, the room lit with flashes. You could hear the rain lashing down. It was actually forecast and by mid-morning the sun was out. The streets were still awash as we headed off to Eroski to get in the provisions. And sushi for lunch - I can honestly report it was better than M&S sushi. Sheesh.
I’d brought the latest two copies of “The” New Statesman which has undergone a redesign and which I hadn’t started on. “We especially value independence of thought, scepticism, criticism and a willingness to debate.“
That, I like very much. Scepticism. Much seems to be happening at home that one could be rather sceptical about. But no, I’m not going to debate it. Not tonight anyway. Two days in - time for Tapas.
