All Blacks

It’s just before 7 pm and the rugby test between the All Blacks and South Africa is about to start.  This historic match is the 100th test match between these two sides who are rated one and two in the world. Because of Covid the match had to be moved from Dunedin (NZ). And because Townsville (Queensland) is Covid free and has been for ages this game and the game following (between Australia v Argentina) was played there.
A bonus for our family getting tickets for the game. There will be plenty of support for the All Blacks as there are many kiwis living in Townsville. Here are Kaylene and Lexi dressed suitably in black for the game just texted over  from our son Aidan.  We had planned to be in Townsville right now for the school hols but of course was canned.

Covid stats…16 new community cases,  total 1147 (up from just 9 yesterday)…..what a roller coaster our daily cases are.

Daylight saving comes on tonight
