Lathyrus Odoratus

Aphrodite

The last of my abutilons to flower this year is Abutilon 'Aphrodite'. This is a young plant that I only obtained a few weeks ago so I wasn't expecting to see any flowers on it this year. The bell shaped flowers are a stunning cerise pink beneath pale apricot calyx with dark green pointed leaves. I hope to add a few more varieties to my collection next year (when Mrs L isn't looking), perhaps the almost legendary 'Red Tiger' or 'Leila Jackson'.
