Pancakes with Fiona

Fiona asked if we could pick her up and come here on saturday and just hang out like old times.    New times, now at middle school ,are appropriately taken up with friends after school after so long alone.    (Fiona says homeschooling wasn’t as fun as she thought it would be)
SO….. the routine….milkshakes, a little knitting , a game of Clue, and making pancakes for dinner while describing her latest VERY numerous very complicated PMV family in detail.
We’ve had several blips of kids and pancakes before…this one is the brand new cast iron pan that I got to hopefully work on the new magnetic stove.   !st time.   They stuck at first but got better…. it’s not like the original scandinavian at the island  (the best) and they are a tad smaller (from Taiwan) but were declared a success!
Extra…Then while Boppa watched some UW football,  she wanted to draw those 3 part figures where you pass it on without looking.   We’ve done these forever..it’s some sort of tradition.   And fun.!   The garage pix is a measure of how tall she is.   For so many years she struggled to jump high enough to touch this part.  She's got her own phone now....
Asked her about Roblox, the game kids are playing…She tried to describe it to me, but doesn’t play  and  said it’s not her “vibe” and besides she’s “too old…it’s for 6 to 8 or 9 year olds.”   Okay....  
I like having her "hang out" here.
