Vanessa the undresser

This is a Vanessa Kershawi or painted lady for those that would prefer the common name.  It was flitting around in one of the sunny moments we had today and funnily enough seemed to like my paving for some reason.  Perhaps it was just soaking up the heat.

The rest of today has been overcast and drizzly and has turned cool again.   Typical Spring weather I have been informed.
