Kiltwalk 2021: Glasgow Green to Dumbarton

Here is our tiny team of two (Flora didn't do the walk) at the start of the 16.5 mile Kiltwalk.

A great route, wonderful weather and excellent organisation. The last couple of miles were hard going. Walking on tarmac is nice and smooth but quite tough on the feet.

We took 6 hours to do the walk. There were four pitstops along the way and we stopped at them all. At Pitstop 2 there was soup to be had and at all of them water and snacks.

We were fortunate to be chauffeured to the start and picked up again at the finish. It was different from Kiltwalks pre-covid but it did the job of raising funds for the riding group.

My feet are sore and I'm sleepy. But I'm delighted we managed and got our medals. Very grateful for all the support from friends and family. That's this blooming kilt away for another year thank goodness :-)

Might not manage much on Blip tonight.
