Orchard Day

It is orchard day at the community orchard today. Most of the trees were stripped of fruit a couple of weeks ago but these were donated from a local garden. Good to see in-person, covid-safe activity and lots of autumn tidying up taking place.

I was on my way for a walk over the fields but stopped to chat to friends and neighbours for about an hour. I've had lots of fresh air already but there's more to do in my own garden and with my own apples. No more long walks though as I want to be in a good state for tomorrow.
