Resting....

....before the big flight south and across the Gulf of Mexico.  

Apparently there are still some hummers around and I was lucky enough to see a few at Brookside Gardens this morning.  I was not lucky enough to get one in flight but this one cooperated by sitting in a tree and very nicely fanned her tail feathers for me.  

It was a toss-up as to which photo to post, so I have posted another of a Clouded Sulphur on a Zinnia that is uncropped.  It was taken with my long lens and a Canon 500D close-up filter which allowed me to get in quite close.
