Visits and Walks and Moving On

I took 26 photos today but can only post 3 - first of all we woke to a very misty morning - and could barely see more than a few yards. We packed up and headed down to Fordingbridge in the van to Neil and Jeanette’s for a lovely English breakfast courtesy of Neil’s fine production. This was followed by a welcome walk past a water plant where there were obviously fish to be caught - hence the inland seagull above. This served to burn off a few calories as we had a table booked at the Fleur de Lys - scene of Tess of the D’Urbevilles dancing on the tables in Cranbourne, Dorset. We then moved on to Wokingham Surrey where we had booked a night in a caravan park with all the facilities and set up camp where one of my 2 oldest friends from childhood and his wife would drive up to spend the evening with us at the van. Jeanette had kindly donated a couple of folding camp chairs and so we were all 4 able to sit outside under the awning and drink a little wine and eat some cheese and crackers and a little chocolate. Adrian and I were friends from about the age of 3 and so we have known each other for over 60 years! Extras of Neil and Jeanette and Adrian and Val with Leyna.
