Trapped!!

Our full day in Sutton started out with seeing the kids off to school after having all my powers taken away by the kids wielding their various wands at me - I love how imaginitive they can be and the walk (see photo) involved encountering many and sundry monsters that Zion took care of with one swing of his sword.  After a walk into town a coffee and purchasing some coffee beans from Under Pressure I headed back to the house while L dedicated some serious time to Charity shopping.
And that's when the day got interesting.  I stopped by the van and deposited my bag and phone etc. before unlocking the front door to use the facilities.  (Why do all these alarming adventures always seem to happen with connection to using a toilet).  Anyway, I somehow managed to turn the key all the way back the other way before pulling it out, shut the door.  But when I returned from the bathroom to collect some breakfast goodies from the van, I could not for the life of me unlock the door - it wouldn't open and there was no way the keys can be used from the inside.
Slight panic ensued when I realised my phone was also in the van outside and then the key did not open either back doors.  I was literally trapped in the house with no way of messaging either Deb or Leyna for help.  After trying for a few minutes with much consternation to open the door, I realised that I could open the back window of Paul's room (see extra).  The problem was there was quite a drop on the other side and having managed to exit one leg I found myself balanced on the window sill unable to move either way.  Somehow managed to ease myself back into the window and designed a new exit bum first and hanging on while swinging one leg at a time outside.  Exited the back gate into Rectory Park and eventually found my way round to the front and re-opened the front door with the key!   What a palaver.  Eventually cooked breakfast and spent the rest of the afternoon doing payroll and going for the walk depicted.
Evening spent dining at an Indian Bar and Grill with Deb, kids and later on Paul who then came back and watched the thrilling 3 - 3 draw between England and Germany on the van TV.  Accompanied I might add with a small glass of excellent bourbon.  An interesting, eventful and fun day.
