Day 6 Level 3 Lockdown

We’ve had two enjoyable zoom chats with friends overseas. The first was on Saturday evening when we had a zoom dinner with friends who were our neighbours in the UK but now live in Sydney. We ate dinner, sipped wine and chatted, just as if we were sitting together at the dining table. The second was this morning when we had a long chat with friends on the Isle of Wight. It’s so good to be able to catch up in this way.

We had a card to deliver today, which gave us the route for our walk this afternoon. It was quite cool, as a southerly wind is blowing, but we enjoyed our walk and had fun using Google Lens (thank you Mr BrianBlip for introducing me to this tool) to identify flowers along the way.

As we walked past the Glen Innes shopping centre I spotted the mural in my blip, which depicts Kowhai flowers and a monarch butterfly. It’s rather colourful I thought.

There were 12 new community cases today.
