Day 5 Level 3 Lockdown

The weather seemed reasonably stable this morning so we decided to get our walk over and done with. Before setting out we popped into my Mum’s to put her clocks and ancient mobile phone forward an hour, as we’re now on summertime. That done, we got on with our walk, stopping every so often to admire trees, plants, flowers and fungi. Hubby loves wisteria so the main blip shows a lovely specimen growing just across the road from us, together with a closeup of a spray of wisteria and a bumble bee that was having a wonderful time burying itself into wisteria flowers. The extra shows a closeup of some kowhai flowers, a castor oil tree leaf, and fungi growing on a tree stump in the garden of a house we walked by.

There were 18 new community cases today - not looking good for a drop to Level 2 at the moment.
