Lunch Pause

We woke up in town to a gloriously sunny morning, even if everything outside was dripping with dew. Such a delight after several days of grey murk. Drove to Galtström, which seems to be where we go when we meet up with Roger and Livia. They were there first, which was something of a surprise, but they do live 60km nearer than we do!
We took a long walk to the "SCA cottages", some cottages owned by the forestry company and available to their employees if they want to hire them. The day was warm and it was very pleasant sitting on these rocks.  Later we walked a little further, to the end of the headland, where we found sea buckthorn bushes filled with their vibrant orange berries. The colour is vibrant but so is the taste, basically very sour but with delicious sub-flavours that almost make the sourness enjoyable. (Our berries are now sitting in alcohol and sugar to produce a small amount of liquor, perhaps for Christmas.)
Once back to the vans, as usual when we meet up with Roger and Livia, we enjoyed an evening of good food and conviviality. We started with drinks outside, joking about the fine Swedish evening because the sun was behind the trees and soon to set, the temperature had dropped, and we were sitting out in our down jackets. Then we ate in our van, and moved on to their van for a final drink.
The moon rose, precisely as it did when we were last here and we realised it was exactly 28 days between the two trips, a lunar month. As before both the moon and Jupiter cast light trails across the sea. A gorgeous evening.
