Kisi

The end of my working week. The end of my working month.

3 bottles of Georgian wine have been languishing in my wine rack, while I have been languishing along in life, with an occasional mental note as I walked past about putting them out of their misery.

At my time of life, mental notes are as useful as a chocolate tea pot, but something clicked last night (my ankle) and I decided it was time.

It is good. Kisi grapes. The vineyard is near Telavi, a bit east of Tbilisi. I drove through the town 2 years ago. It will be harvest time there at the moment. Huge Russian built dump trucks all over the place, piled high with grapes on their way from field to wine press.

Oh well, maybe next year.
