Two hellebores

I picked the last few hellebore flowers today and am fascinated by the way they change over time. One of these has gone to seed. I took a heap of photos with different lighting so thought I would do another collage. Thanks for hosting Tiny Tuesday JDO.

I had a busy day in the garden, first I planted about 15 hellebore plants I dug up from under an old plant, then my sunflower and cosmos seedlings I grew from seed. I haven’t had much luck with seeds in the past but it’s probably because I was too busy working to look after them.

We had a scattering of Covid across the region today. One local shop of concern is the local adults only “Flirt” shop. I wouldn’t have thought that was essential shopping during a lockdown.
