Burr Mill Coffee Grinder
I broke our coffee bean grinder a while ago now, probably near the start of Lockdown 1.  As our coffee machine took coffee bags and as a temporary measure we switched. Not bad coffee and as often happens, the temporary drifts into permanency. I only have one to two cups of coffee a day but we do like a nice coffee and we spoil ourselves. For the last few months we have discussed going back to buying Coffee Beans. Based on a discussion with Nick (Daughter Nicki’s partner) at the weekend we ordered a Burr Mill Coffee Grinder. I had not appreciated the difference between a Burr Mill Grinder and a Blade Grinder. It appears the with a Burr Mill the coffee is more uniformly ground rather than the beans being cut and smashed with blades. Anyway Grinder and Coffee Beans arrived today and I have to admit they made a nice cup of coffee. Footnote - I did think about getting a ‘wind it yourself’ type grinder but that’s just too energetic really :)
