The name of the restaurant in London just near Carnaby Street where my Niece Katy is a sous chef. She has worked in 2 Michelin Starred restaurants previously but came back to this restaurant where she worked before and the culture is a little less tense. We left the Duke in a long stay at Tonbridge where we return from London by train for a change and head to Folkestone for an overnight stop at the Services on the M20 before our morning dive under the Channel to Calais. We had rain for the second day running so hoping for some good weather on the continent - and access to fuel. If you have read about the fuel panic buying in the UK - it’s all true - most petrol stations we passed were empty and the couple that weren’t had queues of over a mile long. Thankfully we filled up a couple of days ago but when we did stop and queue to make sure we had enough for about 30 mins it was rationed to only 35 pounds each. Going for dinner at Katy’s restaurant before we leave and then onward again.
