This is my first attempt at making sauerkraut and I've begun eating it... no ill effects yet! 

I mixed it on the 19th, left it to ferment for seven days and it's now in the fridge. I've never tasted it before so don't know what it's supposed to be like. Mine's quite salty, so next time I'll pay more attention to the ratio of veg to salt. But I like it, and it's supposed to do me good right!
