Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4 - Day 73

Bradford on Avon’s spectacular 14th century monastic stone tithe barn, 51 metres long, with an amazing timber cruck roof (see extra)

A sunny September day of 14 degrees, and a short 26min train journey to Bradford on Avon with my Bus Challenge friend, where we browsed the craft galleries (bought a Christmas bauble!), visited the tithe barn, and walked along the Kennet and Avon Canal to Avoncliff for refreshments, with views of the aqueduct carrying the canal over the River Avon (collage of my day in extras).

As per usual, not everything went to plan (cream tea café shut, pub with no food, gust of wind blew my cake off the table, soaked by a rogue shower, cancelled train) but still had a grand day out. Back home, by the time I’d dealt with a host of chores, I was way beyond cream crackered (and still am), so a back blip.

Take care, stay safe and well...

(Full on M.E. crash today, sorry for lack of comments, will try and pop by with stars.)
