A day in the life

Thursday workstation

Bengt and me are waiting for the audience to arrive at the local cancer association. They are gathered as a social event, to eat good food, talk to each other, get a lecture and at last - have coffee and desert while listening to us playing Taube. It was a fine event but a bit difficult because some of the audience had more to say to each other and it was hard to keep the concentration. But we had some good praise afterwards and maybe there will be spin-off work after this concert.

The Öland harvest festival has started and goes on through Sunday. Many, many locals are selling their products, mostly vegetables, honey, food and crafts. Tomorrow  night is the "Art-night", drawing huge crowds. There are as many people on the island for five days as there is during all of summer, almost.
