Zoo Poo day :-)

I mentioned yesterday that extreme high-excitement was about to ensue, down at the Saughton Allotment site - and earlier this morning, so it proved to be true: annual Zoo Poo day was here ;-)

Several large, truck-loads of the famous "Zoo Poo" were delivered to the site:

--- "zoo poo is 'garden gold/manure' from Edinburgh Zoo - well rotted manure (1year old) from hoofed animals at the Zoo" ---

... and as you can see from the snap here, my allocated quantity (5 barrow-loads, for £5!) is now safely positioned on one of our beds, ready to be more widely spread in due course!

Bumper crops are now, once more, all but guaranteed for 2022 :-))
